Everone in the Nursery has been working hard at our Investors in pupils target this half term which was “listening to the person speaking”
As the children came to the end of another project they were able to speak to Miss Williams (the geography subject leader) by giving a short presentation about the different buildings and structures they have researched.
We all enjoyed a super snack treat of cheese crackers grapes and strawberry’s.
The Pepper Pigs have been learning about different animal homes. This week they have been learning about birds and their nests. We made our own edible chocolate nests, which one would you like to try?
If you would like to make some chocolate nests at home please ask for a copy of the instructions available from the Nursery cloakroon.

On Monday morning while the sun was shinning we put on our shoes and coats and went for walk around the local area to look at the different buildings and structures close to our school. The children took photographs and this video shows a few of the buildings we saw.

Playing with your friends at Nursery is lots of fun.
How do you enjoy having fun at school?
This week we have had lots of fun going on our own bear hunt in the outside area.
Please watch the video and use the pictures to help you retell the story.
Can you remember what we saw in the cave?
We had great fun descorating our shortbread teddy bear biscuits.
Which biscuit is your favourite?
We have spent some time this week deciding what questions we would like to set ourselves to answer for our bear topic.
The Tweenies would like to research ” What are teddy bears made from?”
and the Brums will focus on ” Which types of bears can we name and talk about?”
